Listen to two authorized recordings of a work and note where phrases begin and end. Describe differences in balance or pacing without treating one recording as the only correct interpretation. Save the recording details with your notes.

Keep the finished note with its date and source material. Return to it when you repeat the exercise, and add what changed rather than replacing the earlier observation.
